The brand earned a 93 point rating in Cigar Aficionado and appeared on the magazine’s Top 25 Cigars of the Year list an unprecedented four times – 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2018. Recently, Rocky gave the brand’s packaging a makeover. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ “A Decade on Steroids – Pure Perfection”
”I’ve always loved the Rocky Patel Decade, but the 15th Anniversary takes everything to the next level. There’s a reason this stick has stayed at the top of the charts for over a decade.
The Ecuador Habano wrapper is stunning—oily, dark, and perfectly box-pressed. From the first light, you get a ‘punch’ of flavor that settles into a beautiful mix of dark chocolate, espresso bean, and roasted nuts. What I love most is the transition; about halfway through, a creamy vanilla and cedar sweetness kicks in that balances out the spice.
The construction is top-notch (it’s rolled ‘Entubar’ style), so the draw is effortless and the burn is razor-straight. It’s a medium-to-full-bodied masterpiece that never gets harsh, even at the nub. This is my go-to recommendation for anyone who wants a complex, ‘chewy’ smoke. If you’re flying into Palm Springs, stop by Let’s Smoke—it’s the premier destination to find these in perfect condition.”
