”I’ve been a fan of the original Sun Grown for years, but the Sun Grown Maduro is on a different level. It’s darker, stronger, and much more complex. It’s no wonder it grabbed the #2 Cigar of the Year spot with a 95 rating.
The first thing you notice is that dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. It’s box-pressed and feels substantial in the hand. The first few puffs hit you with a ‘pepper bomb’ that quickly settles into a rich, decadent profile of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and earthy espresso.
