”I’ve smoked plenty of Rocky Patel over the last 20 years, but the Sixty is in a league of its own. It’s easy to see why Cigar Aficionado gave this a 96 rating and the #2 Cigar of the Year spot.
Right out of the box, it looks like a rich chocolate bar with that dark, oily Mexican San Andrés wrapper. Because Rocky aged these for two full years after rolling, the first light is incredibly smooth—no harshness at all. I got deep notes of espresso, dark cocoa, and a hint of leather, with just enough red pepper on the finish to keep it interesting.
Even as a 60-ring gauge, the box-press makes it comfortable to hold, and it burned cool for a solid 90 minutes.
